Congratulations to user ID Maered!

You’ve won our first contest held on February 13th, 2010 by being the 32nd comment or ping back on the site from Feb 1st to today (site member’s comments and ping backs not counted)!  You will be notified by email today and if by chance you do not want the prize you can take a portion of it and pick a new number for a new winner to be chosen (just in case you didn’t know there was a contest and you have no desire to own the items)

Thanks to all of you who entered and we hope to see you back for the next contest!

February marks our second month here at Wicked Writers, and we’d like to honor the month of love with a Valentine’s Day tribute to the Romance genre. Below, you’ll find the list of titles available in an eight-book giveaway, a small box of chocolates, and a $25 gift certificate to Borders offered in our very first contest!

It’s easy to enter – just post a comment anywhere here on our site.  Each post counts as an entry and will be assigned a number based on the date and time posted (don’t worry, our own W W comments to each other will not be counted, we’re a chatty group). At the end of the contest, on February 13th, a random computer-generated number will decide the winner.  We’ll announce the winner on Valentine’s Day and your prize will be shipped to you within a day via media mail.

Comments can be made on any page here on the site – author bio, book descriptions, chapter excerpts, or blog posts. Hateful comments will be deleted and not counted (but constructive ones are always welcome!).

Romance titles up for grabs (click on the link for the Amazon listing and read the book description):

Lorraine Heath – Surrender to the Devil **autographed by the author

Eloisa James – An Affair Before Christmas and Duchess by Night

Suzanne Enoch – Before the Scandal

Kristan Higgins – Too Good to be True

Barbara Freethy – Suddenly One Summer

Who doesn’t Dream? We may have haunting Dreams, dreams of hope, ahhh… Love. We all fantize about Love, the strenght of the character to their weakness, and smiles that could melt your heart. The heart holds the key and we surrender that key to Love, so yes Where Dreams are Made is the gate keeper to all we hold dear to us, from sprialy in to the depth of despair.

    Is this contest international?

    • February 5, 2010 2:44 pm

Sure! Media mail doesn’t cost that much but may take a little longer. Readers come from all over and we’re grateful for the interest in our site, so YES – international is okay on this contest (can’t speak for future ones).

I love to read all the blogs out there , everyones opinions and thoughts and to toss in the rest some humour. Im not sure many people read other blogs I am one who loves to .. I personaly dont blog myself, as much as I love to read books , blogs and what not else. Id love to write my own story, not to publish but just for me ,, But Atm im enjoying the huge number of paranormal, and I find that if an author shows an interst in others then I am also keen to keep following there blogs. I realize some of them are way to buzy and some couldnt be bothered but I follow Cjs often reading all her various blogs especially loved hers the last few months.. The topic is very eye opening lol.. Thanks ladies for your time that you do find some of us really enjoy the time you spend .. Fills those gaps when I need my me time. 😉
